Policies:
Upon successful transfer of a domain, it is automatically renewed for one year (the registration period is extended by one year).
In order to transfer a domain name an authorisation code is required. This code must be obtained from the current registrar.
The domain name must be unlocked prior to initiating a transfer.
After the transfer has been initiated a confirmation email is sent to the administrative contact (on the WHOIS), which must be confirmed.
After confirmation the transfer is initiated through the official registry and the losing registrar will receive the transfer request.
The losing registrar will also send an email to the administrative contact allowing them to deny the transfer. If the email is not responded to then the transfer will get processed successfully after 5 days.
It takes 5 days to transfer a domain name.
